The survivor of the Rubis Fuel Service Station attack in Lusaka, Mapalo Mwewa, who is admitted to Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital, is out of danger and responding to treatment.


Hospital Public Relations Officer Chizongo Siachiwena confirmed that Mr. Mwewa suffered extensive head injuries and multiple skull fractures.


Ms. Siachiwena noted that although the injuries have affected his vision, he is able to speak and walk.


Meanwhile, the victim’s father, Jimmy Mwewa, has called for justice to prevail in the matter.
